9. Service to Humanity
“Be there to wipe away the tears of those who have been left bereft, heartbroken and vulnerable.” His Holiness, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad
Is it not essential to recognize our obligation and paramount duty to assist all people who are facing difficulties? Of course it is.
Wherever people are facing suffering and deprivation of any kind, we should seek to provide aid and assistance. As human beings, it is essential that service to mankind are not empty words, but rather a core part of our actions.
Establishing peace requires us to bandage the wounds of those in pain, to remove the anxieties of those who are distressed and to show love and compassion without any desire for recognition or reward.
At all times, we should utilize our capabilities and skills to the very maximum in order to remove the hardships of innocent people and to comfort those stricken by grief.
The Promised Messiah (as), Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad once said, “My purpose, yearning, and heartfelt desire is to serve humanity; This is my job, this is my faith, this is my habit and this is my way of life.”
